Dawn Cash-Salau is the owner of Escrow Consulting and Accounting, LLC, specializing in the field of trust accounting. Dawn brings forth 25 years of experience in the field of accounting. Her knowledge earned as a Staff Accountant for many years as well as Bookkeeping Department Manager resulted in diverse industry expertise.
In 2014, Dawn was inducted into the Distinguished Military Service Society at East Carolina University. In 2015, she became a member of The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi by election of the East Carolina Unversity Chapter. Addtionally, she was recognized as Honorary Alumna at East Carolina University's College of Health & Human Performance, and is a member of the Advancement Council for the College of HHP at East Carolina University.
During Dawn's 14-year career with a prominent CPA firm, Dawn realized that trust accounting was a service complementary to what CPA firms offer, therefore, Escrow Consulting & Accounting LLC was established. Dawn is uniquely qualified to provide this service due to her extensive concentration in this area. She is fully competent in QuickBooks, and trust specific accounting software including TrustBooks, PC Law, ProTrust, Select, Clio, Amicus, Abacus, Cosmolex, Appfolio, Propertyware, and Builidum, to name a few.
